Some people decide that while they are trying to lose weight they will stop eating certain things.

BAD IDEA

If you are making short term changes that you have no intention of maintaining for the long term then you are on a DIET.

Short term changes might get you results, but they will never last (by definition). And once you stop them, then you will gain back the weight you have lost. Short term changes are the foundation of yoyo dieting.

Instead of depriving yourself for a short time, why not make changes that you can stick with forever?
