My weight loss approach is completely different to the standard diets you will have come across.

There are two things that are different:

  1. Weight loss without dieting
  2. No food is forbidden

 

Is it possible to lose weight without dieting?

Going on a diet is a short-term fix.

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you have to change your behaviour and habits. Your lifestyle must change.

That’s the only way you make long-term changes.

A short-term diet does not lead to long-term changes.

 

With my approach to weight loss:

1. I analyse your food diary and am able to identify factors that contribute to your weight gain

e.g. Mindless eating
e.g. A food environment with lots of temptation
e.g. No connection to natural hunger signals

2. Make adjustments to eating behaviours:

e.g.
Adjusting the amounts and timing of meals (in a way that you don’t feel deprived)
Modifying triggers that lead to unnecessary eating
Reducing unhelpful responses e.g. emotional eating
Learning how to deal with cravings and temptations

3. Using a behavioural approach to change habits

My focus on behaviour and habits, creates sustainable, life-long change.

We are reprogramming your relationship with food.

 

Am I really going to be able to eat whatever I want?

Yes. With my approach no food is banned.

This makes my approach much more sustainable.
