If you have tried and failed to lose weight many, many times, you could be forgiven for thinking it was never going to happen. You could be forgiven for thinking that while other people might be able to lose weight, you can’t. You might even think that there’s something wrong with you.
But it’s not true.
The fact is you can do it. You can lose weight.
I’m not just saying that to make you feel better. I truly believe it.
If you set yourself a modest goal to begin with, continue to make small changes (that you know you can live with) and stick with them no matter what, then you will lose weight.
You won’t lose “30 pounds in 10 days” like a fad diet commercial promises, but you will lose the weight eventually (And frankly, if you are reading this blog, you are more interested in long-term weight loss than a quick fix.)
I know that depending on what your situation is, this might seem too hard to believe, but if you dig a little deeper and really think about it, you’ll know that it’s true. If you have the hope, the determination and most importantly, the patience, you can make long term changes that will make a huge difference to your weight and your life.
